Communications Managers have to perform several tasks as part of their job, which not only involves writing and editing content crucial to a company’s marketing, brand management, PR management and media relations. Their job is to ensure that all of the corporate communication issued by the company works towards building a specific image as required by a company.
Communications managers need excellent speaking and writing skills and must be proficient at working with others.
Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion. Ability to work with colleagues in different countries and understand cultural differences.
